An important function of the IOMFSA is to patrol the regulatory perimeter, taking appropriate enforcement action against any person identified as undertaking regulated activities without being licenced to do so.
On 23 September 2021 the High Court of Justice of the Isle of Man, by consent of the parties, made an Order against a company with a registered office in Castletown and a named director of that company that they forthwith cease to carry on any regulated activities in or from the Isle of Man and that they notify every client of such cessation within 14 days of service of the Order.
